The White Mountains are known for their sweeping views of the Presidential Range. They are not well known for their high-quality hotels, and you will find that few are willing to put themselves out to make your stay memorable. We were fortunate to have stayed at a wonderful inn called the Wildcat Inn, a classic mountain lodge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1934. It is located in Jefferson, NH, about 1 1/2 hours north of Concord, New Hampshire.

Whether you’re planning a trip to the mountains or want to explore some beautiful white space, there’s no doubt that New Hampshire has some stunning natural wonders to offer. If you’re looking for the perfect place to go hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the fresh air, the White Mountains are a great choice.

When you go on vacation, you want it to be special. You want to enjoy yourself, have fun, relax, and leave work behind for at least one day. You want to discover new things, see new places, get away from technology, eat good food, and be around people who make you laugh. This is what we do when we go on vacation and why many people consider a white mountains getaway the perfect escape from it all. It’s the ideal time to recharge and rejuvenate, and it should be no surprise that many people think of it as a kind of spiritual retreat.

Brief Overview of the White Mountains

The White Mountains are a range of mountains in New Hampshire and southern Maine, named for the light-colored quartzite in the area. These mountains are home to Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States.

The White Mountain National Forest and other conservation areas in the region provide outdoor recreation and habitat for wildlife. The White Mountains are also a popular tourist destination and a place to live.

Importance of Planning for a Vacation

As you’ve probably noticed, planning is everything to having a truly memorable vacation. While there’s no surefire way to ensure your trip is amazing, a good plan will help you avoid common mistakes that might ruin the trip for everyone.

You have plenty of time to plan, so now’s the time to start.

Choosing the Right Accommodation

Finding the right hotel or cabin for your next vacation can be challenging. Many factors can influence your decision, including price, location, amenities, etc.

The best way to narrow your choices is to use a travel app like TripAdvisor, Hotels.com, or Booking.com. These sites allow you to search for available hotels and compare prices, amenities, and more. When you find a hotel that meets your needs, here are a few tips to help you pick the perfect accommodation.
