This is the first time the Himalayan Rescue Association has run a Mountain Safety Training Camp in Nepal. Over the last year, we have been working with the organization to develop this training. We are excited to bring the camp to the community and provide a safe space for people to learn and build confidence in their climbing skills.
I decided to write my first book, “Mountain Safety Training For Beginners,” because I wanted to share my experience and help others learn the basics of mountain safety. Why people don’t learn mountain safety skills before climbing has always been a mystery. So I decided to write an entire book on it.”
