After six AC cottages and an surroundings centre got here up at Tadvai, tourists are creating a beeline for the region, that’s a part of the Eturunagram Wildlife Sanctuary, spreading over an area of 806 sqkm in Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Mulugu districts. While 5 cottages are for traffic, one is for officers. Two adults can stay in every cottage, for which Rs 2,000 is charged for twenty-four hours. The package also consists of lunch, dinner and breakfast.

Rooms online,” Ecotourism Coordinator Kalyanapu Suman instructed ‘Telangana Today’. “If there’s a toddler aged round 10 years, Rs 1,000 is charged for him/her,” he brought.

Visitors (nature enthusiasts, journey lovers, trekkers and birders) can visit the Environmental Education Centre (EEC) set up at the Tadvai huts. They can learn about the plant life and fauna of the flora and fauna sanctuary on the centre. “And here within the museum, you can find facts about tribal life-style of the place, cultural historical past, reptile range, flying treasure, stunning squirrels, massive animals, largest deer, digital camera traps and so forth,” Suman brought.

The Eturunagaram Wildlife Sanctuary incorporates predominantly wood species including teak (Tectona grandis) and Nallamaddi (Terminalia alata). It is the habitat of both herbivorous and carnivorous fauna besides harbouring a spread of avian fauna. The keystone species in the sanctuary are massive squirrel and Indian gour.

While the tribal shrine of Sammakka-Sarakka of Medaram is located in the dense forests of the sanctuary approximately 20 km far from Tadvai, those inquisitive about the records can visit the Dameravai megalithic burials, also known as dolmens, believed to five,000 years old. People also can journey a 21-velocity mountain motorbike deep into the forest alongside a specially-organized five-km-long course. Along this path, viewing locations had been prepped for Sambar and other natural world. Those walked the trail are loving it. “Cycling inside a forest became a fabulous experience and I agree, this has become a must-go to vicinity for any nature lover,” Aravind Arya, a nature lover and adventure fanatic.

While the facilities for biking and path-walking are already attracting vacationers, the officers also are offering paraphernalia for camping in the forest specifically on the blackberry island, positioned approximately 12 km away from the cottages at Tadvai.

Visitors can also have a panoramic view of the wooded area and the Jampanna vagu (move) from Kondeti standpoint, positioned 23 km faraway from the cottage (hut modelled ones).

“As of now, we’re receiving ok bookings for the cottages,” Suman stated, adding that they were making plans to introduce jungle safari car quickly. “Since Tadvai is positioned on National Highway 163 (Hyderabad to Bhopalpatnam), which leads to Bogatha waterfalls in Wazeedu, the travelers who come from Hyderabad may additionally live for a night at the cottages of the Tadvai either on their manner to the falls or at some stage in the go back adventure,” he introduced.
